Australia Day 2012 - NEWCASTLE

Australia Day 2012 celebrations at Newcastle involved a lot of things happening at the Newcastle Foreshore. I had intended to take the opportunity, since I have never done it, to trek up to Nobby's Lighthouse. On the way were so many diversions. Boats, planes helecopters, rides, cannons, tall ships and people everywhere. Had I chose, I could have spent all day at the harbour. There were so many water activities. Boats, Kayaks, canoes, solar vessels police boats, tugs, ships, dredges..... Boats going slow, boats going fast, boats going round in circles. Boats, boats, boats, boats, Boats.
