Voting Question: Hotel Party for a 14 yo?

For my birthday I want to have a sleep-over party in a hotel room (coz my house sucks for a sleep over) but I cant find a hotel with a person limit big enough (I was thinking 6-10 people). If I couldn't get a hotel/appartment type thing maybe a small house? But it neeeeds to be for only I night. I live in Newcastle, AUstralia. Would I get in trouble for having over the person limit?
